Learning Technology

Technology has a high priority at St John Vianney.

Staff take seriously their obligation to prepare students for jobs not yet thought of. Providing opportunities for students to access the wider world in their studies is critical to their development. In addition to our computer lab, located in our learning hub (library), every classroom is fitted with an interactive TV and a laptop/computer for the teacher. In addition, we have a set of laptops for regular use by our Stage 2 & 3 students as well iPads for use across the school including a special set for the infants years.

We have sets of  Beebots and Edisons robots for more advanced coding and problem-solving activities across the curriculum.

Naturally, students are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct regarding use of IT generally and the internet specifically.
